On January 17th, Shi Qian, the Party Secretary of the School of Economics and Management, Xie En, Vice Dean (acting as Dean), Wang Hongwei, Vice Dean, Liang Jian, Vice Dean of the Institute of Advanced Management, and Shou Yuexian, Director of the Office of Marketing and Promotion and Deputy Director of the MBA/EMBA Center, visited the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) for an exchange. They were received by CEIBS President Wang Hong, Vice President and Dean Frank BOURNOIS, Vice President and Chinese Dean Zhang Weijiong, Party Secretary Ma Lei, and other CEIBS officials.
CEIBS President Wang Hong warmly welcomed the delegation from Tongji's School of Economics and Management. He introduced the school's history, system, teaching features, and faculty. Vice President and Chinese Dean Zhang Weijiong detailed the eight strategic goals CEIBS has set for the new landscape of management education. Deputy Dean and Dean Frank BOURNOIS, formerly of ESCP, noted the long - standing cooperation with Tongji and expectations for future collaboration. Shi Qian, the Party Secretary of Tongji's school, thanked CEIBS for its hospitality and proposed deeper collaboration in research and case studies. Xie En, Vice Dean of Tongji's school, comprehensively introduced the school's disciplines, team, internationalization, professional degrees, and development strategy.
This visit has strengthened cooperation and exchange between the two institutions, enhancing mutual understanding in areas such as faculty development, talent cultivation, educational models, and distinctive features. The discussions also focused on sharing experiences and addressing challenges in business school development.
